This article explains how to install and uninstall the software showing the prerequisites and the computer requirements to run StudioBIM correctly.
Add-in installation: General information
Virus scanners
Active virus scanner software could possibly prevent the installation or can slow down the installation. In this case, the user can temporarily disable the virus scanner. However, there are certain risks when the virus scanner is disabled. The user has to make sure to enable the virus scanner again after installation.
myULMA ID
The user needs to have a registered myULMA ID to download the StudioBIM software. Once downloaded and installed the software, the user will need to log in with the myULMA ID credentials to use the software.

The user has to follow the steps below to install and uninstall StudioBIM add-in and make it available in the users Revit® software.
INSTALL StudioBIM
Exit Revit®.
Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installation of StudioBIM.
Wait until it is installed.
Once the installation is finished, click on “Finish”.
StudioBIM will be available in the Revit® ribbon
UNINSTALL StudioBIM
To uninstall StudioBIM, go to Control Panel > Programs. A list of installed programs will be displayed. Select the program to uninstall and click 'Uninstall', then follow the instructions provided in the following dialogs.
