EXPORT PROCESS TO GRAFSYSTEM
The tool to exporting is “EXPORT GEOMETRY TO GRAFSYSTEM” (REVIT2GRAF)
In Grafsystem general solution of vertical formwork and horizontal formwork can be made.
VERTICAL FORMWORK
To obtain the vertical formwork solution, the necessary walls and columns are exported.
Walls: It is necessary to carry those walls that are going to formwork and those that condition the solution.
HORIZONTAL FORMWORK
To obtain the horizontal formwork solution, the geometry required to form the slab is exported to Grafsystem. Grafsystem needs to consider the perimeter of the slab with the holes, the floor, the walls, the columns and the hanging beams that will be necessary to apply the horizontal formwork.
- Walls: Walls category
If the horizontal solution has walls around it, these walls have also be exported so that they are detected as obstacles and consider them when solving. The user must select all the walls that will cross the horizontal solution.
- Slabs: Floors category
The following points must be taken into account:

- To export to Grafsystem in the “Slab” category, two floors must be selected and when the above floor is exported, it will be classified as Slab and the floor below as Floor.
- Slab is the one that will formwork, and the below one will be used as reference for the props.
- It is necessary to carry other elements of the geometry to take them into account in the solution (any obstacle, whether columns, walls, …).
- The tool will export the holes in the slabs. Already in Grafsystem, each hole is defined manually if it is a formwork hole or not (in the current version, it is not possible to export to Grafsystem circular holes).

- To generate the horizontal solution taking into account the beams, it can only be solved with ENKOFLEX. For this solution, some elements in the geometry must be taken into account:
- The beams: To detect them as obstacles when solving the slab.
- Columns and walls as obstacles.
- The floor below will be the one that sets the height that the props will have.

- Beams- Structural Framing category
Inside the Structural Framing category, there are several subcategories. All of them can be exported to Grafsystem (other, Girder, Horizontal Bracing, Joist, Purling,…). In order to export them well, some points need to be taken into account:

- Beams must be created using a beam family template.
- Beams created in situ in the project won´t be recognised.
- Most of the elements brought from IFC are not exportable since they don´t have the minimum parameters for Grafsystem.
- Note that the circular beams can´t be exported.
- Pillars- Structural Columns
If the horizontal solution has columns around it, these columns must also be exported so that they can be detected as obstacles and considered them when solving. The user must select all the columns that will cross the horizontal solution.
A Circular column solution doesn’t exists in Grafsystem, but it can be considered as an obstacle for the horizontal formwork.
GEOMETRY MANAGEMENT IN GRAFSYSTEM
Once in Grafsystem, the geometry can be adjusted, for example, edge conditions for walls, types of holes with the aim to obtain the desired solution.
