Formwork ORMA forms a straight two-sided wall section with ORMA formwork. The tool inserts panels and their tying elements. After selecting the wall and two sides of formwork elements or work planes, a menu appears where forming panels, options and group of panels have to be selected. Once the section of wall has been formed, the inserted elements remain selected. A Revit selection can also be saved.
Formwork can be run from a plan view, elevation, section or 3D view.
STEPS TO USE
1. Select a wall.
The wall can be selected from a linked project or from the current project.
2.Select the start point for the formwork.
Select a perpendicular face belonging to a formwork element (panel, corner or infilling) or working plane form that the tool will begin to form. The selection can be made either from a 3D view or a plan, side or section view. For this part of the selection, the element to be selected must be in the same project, not in the linked one.
3. Select the end for the formwork.
Select a perpendicular face belonging to a formwork element (panel, corner or infilling) or working plane form that the tool will finish forming. The selection can be made either from a 3D view or a plan, side or section view. For this part of the selection, the element to be selected must be in the same project, not in the linked one.
4. Panel selection. Range and items.
5. Panel types
-
- GALVANIZED
- ORMA P-A
6. Formwork options
- Panel Orientation:
- Horizontal to Optimize
- Always vertical
- Height in Wide Panels
- Optimized Adjust
- Minimized Number Of Panels
- Height in Narrow Panels
- Optimized Adjust
- Minimized Number Of Panels
- Panel Tying (the options configured in Grafsystem will be available)
- Fixed Clamp
- Adjustable Clamp
- Germany
- Infillings
- Use Always Wood Fillers
- Use Compensation Tubes
- Use Compensation Plates
- Compensation Position
- In the Middle
- In the End
- Ties throughout Wood/Panel
- Ties through Wood
- Ties through Panel
7. Infilling required
The tool will form filling the maximum length with panels. In case an infilling is required, the tool will assure that an infilling is included in the wall stretch to be formed.
8. Clamp beginning
The formwork will include the clamps at the beginning of the formwork, according to the tying criteria of the first panels included by the tool.
9. Clamp ending
The formwork includes the clamps at the end of the formwork, according to the tying criteria of the last panels included by the tool.
10. Save a selection in Revit with a given name
If this option is used, the tool will save a selection with the name given by the user. If a selection with the same name already exists, the tool informs the user that the selection could not be created and requests a new name.
11. Calculate groups of panels to use
Once the item selection and the options have been defined, the tool calculates the groups of panels to form the wall section.
12. Use/not use
The selected group or groups can be marked as usable or not usable to form.
Once the formwork is completed, the items included by the Formwork tool remain selected. This makes it is easier to create a group, an assembly or delete them.
- This tool works both with geometries that are in the same project and with projects that are linked.
- To work with linked projects, the user must acquire coordinates before running the tool.
- The starting point and ending point of the wall, those points that the user must select to set the limits of the solutions, must both in the project, they canĀ“t be linked.
