Once the project solution is finished, it is necessary to codify the project so that the corresponding parameter information for the code, description and information (weight, etc.) is filled in for each family, and to be able to obtain the material take-off, drawings, etc. The schedules used for codification are the following:
- #BOM AREA: Schedule that includes the items that are measured per area.
- #BOM LINEAL: Schedule that includes the items that are measured per linear meter.
- #BOM PARTS: Schedule that includes the items that are measured by quantity.
- #BOM TOTAL: Schedule that includes all the items in the project (both area, lineal and parts)
- #BOM-WK: Add-ins working schedule (it´s not used by the user)
- #IFC PARAMETERS: Schedule that defines the parameters to share when exporting to IFC
These schedules are created automatically when the Codify tool runs. (If the user has previously applied “Transfer standards”, the schedules will appear in the project before codifying and their values will be overwritten):
- After Codifying all the information is included and can be checked in any schedule:
Example #BOM TOTAL
- The following table shows the names of the parameters filled by [Codify]tool and their corresponding descriptions:
PARAMETER | DESCRIPTION |
ITEM_CODE | Code for the articles. In the case of dynamic families, it also depends on the instance parameter of each element. |
ITEM_WEIGHT | Product/ article weight. |
ITEM_DESCRIPTION | Product/ article description. |
ITEM_FORM_AREA | Area for the shape of the articles. This information is only provided if data for the product/articles is available. |
ITEM_QUANTITY |
Quantity corresponding to each instance: In the case of articles quantified unitarily, the value will be 1.
In the case of the articles quantified per length unit, the value corresponds to the length of each instance (in the unit corresponding to the article). In the case of the articles quantified per unit area, the value corresponds to the area of each instance (in the unit corresponding to the article).
|
ITEM_GENERIC_UNIT | Unit in which the article it is quantified, when the article is quantified per length unit or area unit. |
WEIGHT |
Weight corresponding to each instance: In the case of the articles that are quantified by unit, the value will be the same that the parameter ITEM_WEIGHT. In the case of the articles that are quantified per length unit, the value will correspond to the length of each instance by the weight between the same length unit (ITEM_QUANTITY x ITEM_WEIGHT). In the case of the articles that are quantified per area unit, the value will correspond to the area of each instance by the weight between the same area unit (ITEM_QUANTITY x ITEM_WEIGHT). |
- It is recommended to duplicate the schedules to customise their fields and configuration (not modify default schedules). Each time the user runs the Codify tool, the properties of the base schedules will return to the default configuration, so it is important not to lose the changes applied in those schedules.
